Dima likes the Latvian tango community very much and would like to offer you a set of courses which he designed after having danced several times in Riga and which he considers important topics for you, the Latvian tango community and your dancing. And, of course, he also would like to address the Estonian and Lithuanian tango dancers with it and get into dialogue with them.

Therefore he will come in end of January again to Riga and would like to invite you to take part in his lessons. In Facebook you can also contact him and ask more about the courses and his ideas behind.

He will come together with his partner Aleksandra Orina from Petersburg.

They will arrive on Friday 27th, go to Tango Klubs’ milonga in the evening to dance and say „hello” and give the lessons on Saturday and Sunday at Balta Pirts, where Ieva is so kind to host the event. Special guests: Diana del Valle & Juan Camerlingo, Argentina

For the first time a show performance of “Tango Argentino” will be produced and performed by tango dancers and musicians from Latvia and its neighboring countries. With this performance we want to introduce you to classical Argentinean tango music from its “golden age” (20ies – 40ies) and some examples of contemporary tango music, for example by the famous composer Astor Piazolla. The dancers will perform “Tango de Salon” – classical tango dance – in solo and group settings and not a theatre performance with a script. The Latvian tango quartet “Undertango” will play live music.

As special highlight we have invited Diana del Valle and Juan Camerlingo from Argentina (dianayjuan.com), a world-class couple of professional tango dancers with an exceptional aura – we are sure you will be fascinated by them!
